Maybe we should think about this …
and the following will apply as well …
People in Aussie will wonder why you need a weapon in the first place because we don’t and most will think you are a blithering idiot for having one and thinking you need one?
To me freedom is to be able to go out in public and not have the fear of being shot!
1. the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants.
“we do have some freedom of choice”
synonyms: right to, entitlement to; More
2. the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
“the shark thrashed its way to freedom”
synonyms: liberty, liberation, release, emancipation, deliverance, delivery, discharge, non-confinement, extrication”
what this leaves out is that people need to respect others. You might want to “act, speak, or think as one wants” but if it hurts others that is not acceptable is it?
So to my mind in the USA you do not have freedom that you so cherish. The guns that you think gives you freedom takes it away.
Of course I base my opinion on media but I try to be objective. Unfortunately you can’t get away from people dead numbers, can you?
