You must look at these.
The Space shuttle Enterprise, mounted atop a 747, flew over NYC. The shuttle will eventually be put on permanent display at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. The old technology being retired. Unsurprisingly, a space shuttle on top of an airplane is a really cool thing to see.
